Bonnie Ascher, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Ascher, a Pennsylvania native, is another whose early love of horses was transformed into a career. After completing her bachelor’s degree in biology at Franklin and Marshall College while captaining her IHSA equestrian team, Dr. Ascher moved onto Michigan State University for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2014. After graduation, she completed an equine internship in Texas before spending the next two years at South Shore Equine before joining Rabanal in Equine in 2017.
Dr. Ascher’s veterinary interests include sports medicine/lameness and alternative medicine (acupuncture) and in her spare time she continues to compete in the hunter world.
